It’s that time of year again!!! The annual charity model search benefiting Now I lay me down to sleep. If you know me you know this organization is near and dear to my heart. I have been with these guys for about 3 or so years now. Maybe four…heck I’ve lost track. Basically what we do is remembrance photography. We go into hospitals and photograph babies, that have passed or will pass or are likely to. These families are going through the worst nightmare any parent can imagine. It has been the greatest blessing to be a part of this group. It never fails when I think things are horrible in my life a call comes in and grounds me. www.NowILayMeDownToSleep.org. Tear jerker alert…DO NOT go to this site unless you have tissues and are prepared to cry. This wonderful orgainzation is a non-profit, and this is their largest fund raiser of the year. It may be their only fundraiser. I’m not sure. In any event, if you’d like to participate it’s great fun! We will photograph your kiddo, submit your favorite image to the voting gallery, you share it, and your friends vote! It’s a dollar per vote. The kiddo’s with the most votes move into a final voting round, where a panel of the industry leaders will vote on the winner.
